When your furnace stops working here in Minnesota, it can be a pretty important event. Most people don’t look for a furnace repair service until they need it. We have decided to go through the various heating and cooling companies here in the Twin Cities and point out a few of the better ones, so that when you need one, you only have to browse through a few, rather than every single one.
Most furnace repair companies offer emergency service, but if your furnace goes out on the first cold day, these companies often receive too many service calls for them to complete, so you may end up having to wait to get a service person out to your home. For example, at my house in Hudson, WI, my furnace wouldn’t work on the first cold day of Fall. It was a Friday morning when I called, and I couldn’t get a serviceman out to my home until late Monday afternoon.
